SECTION 3: ORGANISATION UNIT GROUPS
An organization unit group is a set of organization units of a supervisors’ supervisory area. In case new organization units were added to DHIS2, they need to be placed in a group. An organization unit should never be in more than one group.
Organization units and groups are managed in the “Organisation Units” application
Create new organisation unit group
Open the Organisation unit app
Navigate to Organisation unit group and click on the + sign at the bottom-right side of the window
Fill out the fields accordingly
In the organisation unit tree, select the organisation units you would like to add to the group and click save
Update organisation unit group
Search for the existing group and click on it to edit - they will always have a prefix in front of the name with the ISO code of the country and the supervisor name.
in the organisation unit tree, select or deselect the organisation units you would like to add or remove to/from the group and click save.
